Welcome to Glamsbjerg Camping / Hjemstavnsgårdens Camping – a small, quiet campsite on Western Funen (Vestfyn). We are a simple, 1-star campsite run by ourselves. We have deliberately kept things basic and uncomplicated. This means we are not a large holiday park with lots of facilities, activities and service. Instead, you get a cosy, peaceful atmosphere at a good price – and plenty of peace and space to relax.Here’s what you can expect:
- Small and intimate site
We only have a limited number of pitches and no fixed, marked plots. Everyone helps show a little consideration so there is room for all – especially when we are fully booked. - Self-service and self check-in/out
There is no staffed reception with fixed opening hours. You check in and out by yourself (we will send instructions before arrival). The toilets and showers are free and simple, but clean. - Limited facilities
We do not have a swimming pool, supervised playground, restaurant, shop or daily service. What we do have is a calm, green and pleasant environment – much quieter than on the big campsites. - Everyone helps out a little
To keep prices low and the atmosphere nice, we ask all guests to clean up after themselves, leave the shared areas tidy and show consideration for their neighbours. It helps make the stay pleasant for everyone. - Quiet and relaxed holiday
Here there is time to enjoy nature, listen to the birds and unwind. It is perfect if you are looking for peace rather than entertainment and organised activities.
If you are dreaming of a large site with many facilities and full service, we might not be the right place for you. But if you like things simple, quiet and personal, you are very welcome!
