8. Campsite Rules and Guest Responsibilities
We are a small, peaceful and cosy campsite on West Funen where we want all our guests – families, couples and seasonal campers – to relax and enjoy nature. These rules help ensure a good atmosphere, safety and cleanliness for everyone. All guests must comply with our rules and Danish camping regulations. Key points include:

  • The booking is personal and cannot be transferred or sublet to others.
  • Quiet hours: 23:00 – 07:00. Music, conversations and other sounds must be kept at a considerate level.
  • Driving on the site must be at walking pace.
  • Pitch allocation: We do not have fixed pitches. Placement is flexible, but you must position your caravan, awning, tent, car and other equipment in a normal and considerate way (e.g. caravan with awning and one car) so that there is still room for all guests and easy access on the site. You must always maintain the required safety distances (minimum 3 metres between units) for fire safety. When the campsite is fully booked, it may be necessary to place units closer together. We reserve the right to ask you to adjust your placement or move you to a comparable pitch if necessary for practical, safety or operational reasons.
  • Pets: Dogs and other pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and attended to at all times. You must clean up after your pet on the site and in the surrounding area. Pets must not be left alone if they may disturb neighbours (e.g. by barking).
  • Keep your pitch tidy.
  • Clean up after yourself in common areas (showers, toilets, kitchen).
  • Waste and recycling: Please sort your waste in the designated containers. Large items (old tents, furniture etc.) must be taken home with you.
  • Children and playground: Children must be supervised by an adult at all times in the playground and common areas.
  • Smoking: Allowed on your own pitch (with consideration for neighbours), but not inside shared buildings or close to them. Use ashtrays and do not litter.
  • Electricity and safety: Only use approved outdoor CEE cables. Open fires (bonfires) are not permitted, but responsible barbecuing is allowed. Fireworks are prohibited.
  • Electric cars: Charging electric cars via regular sockets on your pitch is not allowed for safety reasons. Public chargers are available nearby.
  • Visitors: Overnight guests must be reported and pay the normal rate. Day visitors are welcome but must follow the rules and park outside.
  • The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old.
  • The caravan/tent must remain mobile and cannot be used as a permanent residence.

Failure to follow these rules may result in termination of the stay without refund.

9. Liability

  • We are not liable for theft, loss or damage to personal belongings.
  • Guests are fully responsible for any damage caused to the pitch, facilities or other guests’ property.
  • We recommend adequate travel and liability insurance.

10. Force Majeure

We cannot be held responsible for any changes or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
11. Data Protection
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and current Danish and EU GDPR legislation.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes shall be settled by the Danish courts.
