Information about Seasonal Pitch Holders at Hjemstavnsgårdens Campingplads
Please note: We only have a limited number of seasonal pitches available. Book early to secure your spot for the summer season.
Welcome to our seasonal pitches! The following rules apply to all guests who book a pitch for the summer season.
Rental Period
You can book the pitch for the full season from 1 April 2026 to 30 September 2026. Your pitch must be fully vacated, cleaned, and left in good order no later than 30 September 2026 at 12:00 noon.
Price Overview
- Full season (1 April – 30 September 2026): 15,500 DKK incl. VAT
- Main season (1 June – 31 August 2026): 9,500 DKK incl. VAT
- Extra month (e.g. May or September): 3,000 DKK incl. VAT
The prices include:
- Rental of the pitch for 2 adults
- Expected normal electricity use (approx. 5–7 kWh per day)
- Free access to showers and toilets
Electricity consumption significantly above the expected normal usage will be charged at 5.50 DKK per kWh incl. VAT according to the meter.
Note: If you only book the main season (June–August), the pitch must be vacated by 1 September 2026 at 12:00 noon.
Extension
If you wish to extend your stay beyond the booked period, please contact us in writing as early as possible. Any extension will be subject to availability and must be agreed separately.
Payment
The full amount is due upon arrival.
We may also ask for a deposit of 1,000 DKK, which will be refunded after you have vacated and cleaned the pitch properly.
Important Rules
No Subletting
Subletting or lending the pitch to others is not permitted. The pitch may only be used by the person(s) named in the booking. Any breach of this rule may result in immediate termination of the booking without refund.
No Permanent Residence
Seasonal pitches may not be used as a permanent home or year-round residence. You must keep another official address registered in the Danish Folkeregister. The caravan must remain a holiday accommodation only.
The Caravan Must Stay Mobile
Your caravan must be fully mobile at all times and ready to be towed away with a legal vehicle.
Permanent structures such as fixed floors, terraces, tiles, fences, or sheds are not allowed without written permission from the campsite.
Fire safety rules (minimum 3 metres between units) must always be observed.
Gas Safety
You must show a valid gas certificate for your caravan’s gas installation when you arrive. We recommend the certificate is no more than 2 years old.
Electricity Use
Please use electricity sensibly – similar to normal summer use for two people in a caravan.
Excessive use (for example electric heating, air conditioning, or many extra appliances) may lead to additional charges or termination of your booking.
Guests
- Overnight guests must be reported to reception on arrival (including names and number of nights). They pay the normal daily rate.
- Day visitors must park outside the campsite and are not allowed to drive in.
- All visitors must follow the campsite rules.
- You are responsible for the behaviour of your guests.
Relocation
We reserve the right to move you to another similar pitch during the season if it is necessary for maintenance, repairs, safety, or operational reasons. You will receive at least 7 days’ notice. No compensation is offered for such moves.
General Responsibilities
- Keep your pitch tidy and mow the grass regularly.
- Sort and dispose of waste according to the campsite guidelines. Large items must be taken away by you.
- Quiet hours begin at 23:00.
- Driving on the campsite is only allowed at walking speed and between 07:00 and 23:00 (except in emergencies).
- You must follow all general campsite rules and the Danish camping regulations.
Termination
If the rules are seriously breached (for example non-payment, subletting, using the pitch as permanent residence, excessive noise, mess, or other violations), we may cancel the booking immediately. No refund will be given in such cases.
Liability
You are responsible for any damage caused by yourself, your family, or your guests.
We are not liable for theft or damage to your personal belongings.
These rules are part of your seasonal pitch booking. By booking a seasonal pitch at Hjemstavnsgårdens Campingplads you agree to follow them.
