Arrival, Check-in & Late Arrival

Yes – self-service late arrival is allowed after online booking and full payment. Please arrive quietly, respect quiet hours and avoid disturbing other guests by driving or setting up equipment noisily.

Check in is self service. Once you have a paid and confirmed booking, you just ente the campsite, find a pitch and set up your camp. You do not need to report to the reception or call anyone. Very easy!!

Check-in: From 14:00 (2 PM) to 21:00 (9 PM). Check-out: By 12:00 (noon).

Attractions and activities

Absolutely! West Funen has excellent cycling routes. Many guests bring their own bikes and enjoy exploring the scenic countryside.

We are located right next to Vestfyns Hjemstavnsgård – an authentic open-air museum showing 1800s Danish rural life. Other nearby attractions: The Flax Weaving Museum Skoda Museum Danmark at Krengerup Estate Beautiful cycling routes (part of the Manor Route / Slotssruten) Glamsbjerg town (bakery, shops, approx. 3–4 km) Assens harbour and child-friendly beaches (about 10 km) Terrariet Vissenbjerg and other Fyn nature spots The area is perfect for relaxed cycling holidays and nature experiences.

Booking and payments

Yes, we strongly recommend that you take out travel and cancellation insurance for extra security.

Book directly on our website glamsbjergcamping.dk. Full payment is required at the time of booking. You will receive a confirmation email, and we offer self check-in.

Extra guests must be reported and paid for before they arrive. You can pay: Cash in the mailbox at the service building By bank transfer Via MobilePay

If you connect to electricity without having prepaid, or need other extras, payment must be made before the electricity is turned on. Use the same methods as above (cash in mailbox, bank transfer or MobilePay) and state the booking name + what the payment is for (e.g. “electricity – [booking name]”).

Bookings via third-party platforms follow that platform’s own terms and conditions, which take precedence where they differ from ours.

The person booking must be at least 18 years old.

More than 8 days before arrival: Full refund 8–3 days before arrival: 50% refund Less than 3 days before arrival: No refund for the first night; 50% on remaining nights if we can rebook the pitch No-show: No refund Full details are in our [Booking Terms and Conditions].

Full payment is required at the time of booking via our secure website system. No deposit or payment on arrival for direct bookings.

The 2026 season runs from 15 April to 30 September 2026.

Campsite rules

Yes, dogs and other pets are welcome. They must be kept on a leash at all times, attended to, and you must clean up after them. Pets should not be left alone if they may disturb neighbours by barking.

Day visitors are welcome but must follow the rules and may need to park outside. Overnight guests must be reported to us and paid for at the normal daily rate before they arrive.

No – all accommodations must remain mobile and cannot be used as a permanent home.

Only use approved outdoor CEE cables. We recommend a valid gas certificate for longer stays. Open bonfires are not allowed, but careful barbecuing is fine. Fireworks are prohibited. Maintain at least 3 metres between units.

Quiet hours are from 23:00 to 07:00. Please keep noise, music and driving at a considerate level. Driving on the campsite must be at walking pace.

Please sort your waste correctly in the designated containers. Large items such as old tents, furniture or building materials must be taken home with you.

Services and facilities

No – charging via regular sockets on your pitch is not allowed for safety reasons. We can help you find the nearest public charging stations.

No. We have flexible placement. You must position your unit (e.g. caravan with awning + one car) considerately so there is room for everyone. Minimum 3 metres between units for fire safety is mandatory.

Yes – we have a playground, plenty of safe space to play, and a calm atmosphere that suits families, couples and seasonal campers alike. Children must be supervised by an adult in the playground and common areas.

Yes, free wireless internet is available in the reception area.

47 grassy camping pitches – suitable for tents, caravans and motorhomes. Many are shaded and located by the creek. Electricity available on all pitches. Maximum 8 persons per pitch. Large rustic cabin – sleeps up to 4 guests, with private kitchen, toilet and shower. Cozy Cabin 1 and Cabin 2 – each sleeps up to 4 guests (bunk beds + small double bed). Electricity, TV, stove and kettle. Shared toilets/showers in the service building.

We are a small, peaceful campsite at Klaregade 15, Gummerup, 5620 Glamsbjerg on beautiful West Funen (Vestfyn), Denmark. The campsite lies in green surroundings with many pitches by the creek, surrounded by fields and nature.
