About Glamsbjerg Campground
2026 Season: Open April 15 – Sep 30, 2026
Come and relax in this beautiful, quiet and friendly environment. We located in the small village of Gummerup and surrounded by fields and nature. Our campsites are shaded and grassy with electrical hookups for your convenience, making your stay comfortable and relaxing.
All of our tent sites are grassy, many are shaded and by the creek. We have three unique rustic cabins, each with their own special features.

- First-come campgrounds usually fill by early morning: plan ahead to obtain a site
- Please make everyone feel welcome. Make sure there is enough room for all campers also the late arrivals

At Glamsbjerg Camping, you will all of the necessities – A service building with free showers and toilets, a family-shower with nappy-changing facilities, shaded and sunny spots, a playground etc. We have created the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. You can sit back, listen to the birds and being in the middle of danish nature.
You book and pay before you arrive, which makes it possible for you to drive directly into the campsite and chooce your preferred spot. No waiting in line at reception – get started right away.

New season starting
Campsite opens for the new season with new owners, but with the same concept as always. Now also known as Glamsbjerg Camping
New owner
Kim retires and sells the campsite to Sara and Rune.
Building camping cabins
The campsite gets its first camping cabin - our Cozy Cabin 1
The campsite goes private
Kim Jørgensen buys the campsite from the city counsel without any prior experience and runs it in its current form for the next 28 years
Camp created
The campsite is established by the local counsel, Glamsbjerg Kommune. The service building is build and the campsite opens for the first time. Named after the museum next door it is named Hjemstavnsgårdens Camping.
